Poland

We learned all about Poland in January.

Poland falg is red and white. Poland is beside Germany and russia. The most famous person from Poland was Pope John paul II. He is God's messenger on Earth. Poland has a very good soccer team. Poland is famous for it's chocolate. Coperinicus was a famous man from Poland. he found out that the earth goesa around the sun.

We've done so many lovely art projects in the class this year including: Printing, Painting pictures, making collages, constructing baloons with paper mache and of course working with clay. Here is some of the great worrk we did.

My Christmas Holidays by Klera, Elenya, Denis and with help from Azeez

We had no school for 2 weeks. Santa came on Chrimas eve. He brought us Lot of presents . I got a star from santa. I Left out food for Santa. I Gave him cookies and milk. The stocking is on the fire place. I g0t a gip from santa.

The sun is a star . It is in space and made of fire.
The sun is much bigger than the earth.
The sun gives us light and heat.
There are lots of things to do when it is sunny.

I like to go to the beach.

Word Wall

We are now finished with our word wall. Soon we will take down all the words and replace them with new ones to learn. We have learned all the new words from 'Gingiraffe Moves House', our reader and we are looking forward to filling the word wall again with words from "The Broken Sleigh", our new reader.

The weather

We have been learning about the different types of weather in class. We also learned that it is important to take care of our bodies in different types of weather.
